Check out a partial list of currently available Master's and PhD positions. It is a good idea to first identify a potential research supervisor by contacting individual faculty members, but it is also possible to just submit an application to the School of Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs.
All research Master's and PhD students receive at least the departmental minimum funding package during their time of funding eligibility (24 months for Master’s and 48 months for PhD) as long as they are full-time students and remain in good standing. Most departments have established guaranteed minimum stipend amounts that range among the highest at Canadian engineering departments. In addition, students can apply for the awards and fellowships below.
