There are two paths for you to consider when applying to Smith Engineering. You can apply to our common first year, or you can apply to one of our direct entry programs.
If you choose our common first year, you will spend your first year learning general engineering knowledge, and then declare your discipline in the second semester of your first year. We guarentee your first choice of discipline, as long as you pass all your first year courses and apply by the deadline. Learn more about our common first year.
