Smith Engineering at Queen's has been a leader in engineering education innovations for several decades. They include the Integrated Learning initiatives, development of the team project-based design and professional practice experiences in first year and second year, multidisciplinary industry-based design courses, faculty-wide development of a design sequence in every year, and outcomes-based assessment.

In Smith Engineering at Queen's, we have a full-service Engineering Teaching and Learning Team (ETLT) composed of several specialists. The ETLT is available to support instructors with online, face-to-face, and blended teaching.
