How Eng Peer Mentorship Works
(AKA Bounce Back)

If you are invited to the program and choose to participate, you'll be paired with an experienced upper-year mentor. You and your mentor will meet and message regularly throughout the term. This is your chance to connect, learn, and thrive with support from upper-year students who have been in your shoes!

  • Set attainable academic goals
  • Get insider tips on surviving and succeeding in your courses
  • Discuss your study habits
  • Build connections with students who can guide you through challenges
  • Explore ways to build on your strengths during the term
  • Gain new study hacks, career advice, and the lowdown on campus resources
  • Establish a new platform for success in the future
  • Be part of a supportive Engineering community that has your back

Students who participate benefit from increased motivation and the opportunity to connect with an experienced and supportive upper-year Engineering student listener on a regular basis. Don't go it alone - Eng Peer Mentoring is your shortcut to confidence, connection, and success.

If you have questions about the Eng Peer Mentor program, you may email the coordinator, Greg Hicks.
