
The Department of Civil Engineering will host its annual Industry Open House on January 29, 2026, bringing together students, faculty, and industry professionals for an afternoon of networking and career exploration. The event will take place at the Donald Gordon Centre from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
The 2026 Industry Open House will welcome leading civil engineering firms and public-sector organizations from across Canada. Representatives will be on site to discuss their work, share insights into current and emerging industry trends, and highlight employment and internship opportunities for students.
The event serves as a key opportunity for attendees to engage directly with industry leaders, ask questions about career pathways, and gain firsthand knowledge of the diverse sectors within civil engineering, including infrastructure, geotechnical, environmental, and hydrotechnical engineering.
